Improved transport logistics
With Bag-In-Box there are absolutely no empties to be returned
and, instead of 18 x 30 litres (=5.4 hl) with kegs, 36 x 25
litres (=9.0 hl) with beer bags can now be transported on one
Europallet. The further the distance, the more attractive the
Bag-In-Box system becomes.
No more packaging shortages
Seasonal variations can bring about keg shortages, especially
in the three peak months, meaning that packaging capacity is
always geared towards maximum requirements. With Bag-In-Box
there are no packaging shortages and no capital lock-up. The
system is tailored to requirements, streamlined and efficient.
No more risk of lost kegs
The risk of losing barrels during export is considerable. Costs
incurred by losses must be factored in to the product price.
With Bag-In-Box this is another problem that belongs in the
past.
Alternative sales opportunities
Even small, local breweries now have the opportunity to market
their superb, top-quality speciality beers effectively abroad.
The logistics barrier has been distinctly lowered.
Series connection
Bag-In-Box packs can easily be connected in series and changed
during the run of business. A beer group of this sort runs
empty from top to bottom. In this way, the hectic barrel changing
at peak operating times, just when it’s least convenient,
can be avoided.
